THE GIFTS OF OUR EXILES: A 2-Day Experiential IFS Workshop Reconnecting Us With Our True Selves (Live, Via Zoom, November 17-18, 2023, 9-3pm PT
Many of us find the idea of facing the most shameful and wounded aspects of ourselves frightening. Protective Parts believe we are too fragile and the pain too overwhelming, or they believe we are defective and unworthy of love, joy, and connection.
As IFS therapists, we know those beliefs stem from burdens that exiled parts of us carry; preventing the inherent gifts of our clients most vulnerable aspects from being seen and valued. When we're able to help protectors recognize the gifts of their exiles, it eases resistance and increases compassion toward these emotionally burdened parts, a necessary requirement for us to facilitate integration within the Larger Self.
*This workshop includes teaching and discussion, case examples, experiential learning, and new skills to deepen this healing process. These skills will be demonstrated and then participants will have an opportunity to practice them. Guidelines will be provided for practice to use with colleagues and clients.
*IFS CE's Available, Recording available post workshop.
