Self-Led Eating and Well-being During Stressful Times: Use IFS to Heal Burdens Related to Food and the Body.
We’re a culture preoccupied with dieting and wellness, devoted to maintaining unrealistic ideals of how we should look and function. Our confusion and shame about our weight, size, and health are rooted in cultural burdens that can make us lose touch with our innate wisdom about what our bodies need. This has been particularly evident during the pandemic, where messages about food and bodies have often been extreme or conflicting. Open to anyone with personal experience of IFS. Date: January 23rd 2021, 12:30-3:30pm PST Watch an interview to learn more about the workshop.
